us about $300.00 )-: if something were to happen costing more to repair than a one line items reserves
are budgeted for.
5. Board Approval of 2011 Annual Budget – approved unanimous (reason ~ reimbursement of a

websites)
6.1. 16 have
been sent out – one has discussed the plan for correcting the issue, most complied immediately, three are in
progress, and TWELVE others were NOT sent because the weather it has been frightful … MOLD on your sidewalks
and / or driveway. Do you have a moldy sidewalk or
driveway? Get it pressure washed or cleaned while the weather
is beautiful.
7. Old Business
7.1. Community
Recommendations for and of the community.
7.1.1. Tony will have the Ameri-Tech “preferred vendors” list delivered to residents AND Evelyn
will make the recommendations from community members more prominent on the front page and in the
navigation.
7.2. Garbage
7.2.1. Turkey
vultures – this issue keeps raising its ugly head. The vultures LOVE our community frequently on trash days (Monday & Thursday) When
one leaves trash that contains food open and available to Turkey Vultures ~ only a fool could not put two
and two together ~ and you know what they say about a “Fool and their Money” ? They are soon parted. If
needed those who leave garbage open and available to be strewn around the neighborhood WILL BE fined :-)
7.2.2. Trash left out when not picked up – see 7.2.1
7.2.3. Weather – when the wind gusts are 15 to 25 mph your soda bottles, beer cans, papers, etc
are like Dorothy and Toto in their house as they left Kansas … BATTEN DOWN the trash OR do NOT leave it out
… Thank You.
7.3. Community
wide ~ Yard, Garage, Sidewalk sale ~ should we get a banner?
Tony brought a book for us to look at options. Tall slim flags
from $139.00 to $189.00 – the next Bi-Annual sale will be in the spring. Is this something to invest in to draw attention for two sales a
year?
7.3.1. If you are selling you home during the community wide sales, I hope you are planning an
open house (if it is still unsold) if you are “thinking” about selling your home and want to see what
interest it may get, have an open house.
7.3.2. Do you sell products or services person to person? Consider having an open house (or displaying your wares) during this
time.
8. New Business
8.1. Noise
issues – Tarpon Springs has a 50 foot NOISE ordinance (24/7) if you are being bothered by noise 50 ft or
more away, call the Tarpon Springs Police Department ~ an
officer will be sent to quiet the situation.
8.2. Homes
having a large amount of traffic – we think this falls under the ordinance.
9. Maintenance Report
9.1. Landscape
Report – no report
9.2. Playground – lighting issue: to install a pole is very pricey, maybe it may be worth it to
check into “renting” one.
9.2.1. Installing a light though – what is the risk assessment for it (will a light keep away
bad, invite people to stay out later (park is supposed to close at dark)
9.3. Rusting
poles along the entrance of RiverWatch (get pics and post links) get recommendations and
quotes.
9.4. Dock
9.4.1. Gate rusting – recommendations and quotes
9.4.2. ALL signs needs to be cleaned
9.4.3. Dura-Deck does not seem to be an option for board replacement at the dock. Dura-Deck must be installed by a “certified installer”
10. Architectural

One request for window replacement – approved
11. Board of
Director Comments

Pete C – Florida Friendly plant and grass issues. The grass RiverWatch has approved (since the inception of Riverwatch –
back when it was New Haven East) is a Florida friendly grass and this grass (St. Augustine) is the only
grass allowed in the community (be aware of shady sellers, selling subpar sod!)
