I am "working" on the notes from the meeting of last night.  Positive Thoughts they are done by the end of the week.  Currently it is the agenda.  I also updated the main page with the date of our next meeting.  It will be TUESDAY January 17, 2012.

WHOOO HOOOO ~ Notes Up ~ Gosh this time of year goes fast!!!

And then I noticed yesterday that if you were born in 1990 you are now old enough to legally drink ... WOW ... Time goes by fast this time of generation ... now working on the agenda for the meeting on Monday. However the date given to us from Ameri-Tech was the 21st (???) will have to double check but it SHOULD be the 19th of December.

And Working Agenda is up ... It will be final No Later Than 7pm Saturday.

Updated the main page with the meeting date for December ... and I will be working on notes from the November meeting :-( Sue will turn them into minutes :-) I haven't started writing the notes yet ~ and I have a busy day today so, hopefully before the week is out the November notes will be posted here.

We are having a presentation given by Doris from Florida Friendly ... I hope you will attend so we can begin planning a wonderfully beautiful community that is also awesomely Florida Friendly.

Updated the Working Agenda for our meeting on Monday. I will get the sign out this morning (Positive Thoughts to remembering :-) Can you believe ThanksGiving is only ONE Week away!!! WoW (although we should actually be giving Thanks every single day ~ several times a day ~ hmmm ~ I find it best to give Thanks in All I Do ~ Thank You :-)

Edited the main page with the awesomeness of this day and that the dues for 2012 will stay the same as they have for over half of a decade :-) Over HALF of a decade WHOOO HOOO !!!

Today is our Bi-Annual Community Garage Sale (they correspond with the bi-annual Tarpon Springs Clean-Up Day) I was told by a neighbor that many of the neighbors he talked with this morning knew nothing about the sale.

I can only do what I can do. I have walked the neighborhood to get people to a meeting. I have left flyers on community members mail boxes and then I created this website ... and the website itself keeps me quite busy now.

My way of volunteering for our community is; I attend all the meetings (I guess I have to since I've been on the board since my first meeting) I currently do our notes, which become minutes (saving the community $50 a month or $600 a year) and I also do this website (NOTE: this website is not in the budget in any way, shape, form etc. ~ including the domain name and there IS a cost) so ... if you see something that could be done and you want to head it up  Let me know and I will get your information out there.

I willingly lead the horses to water - but I won't beat them if they don't drink.

We are no longer being managed by Ameri-Tech ... They are technically our managers until 11:59 pm October 31, 2011 - they actually stopped working for us a while back, but it took a while to realize this horse IS dead. :-(

Property Management Services (PMS) is our NEW Property Management Company ~ they take over November 1st :-)

Currently working on the website, the notes, the minutes, the to-do list (Thank You Ed for getting the form and flow going!) AND babysitting.

Thank you Maria for your call and the information.

I am about done for the day, but hopefully tomorrow evening I can be back on the to-do list :-) duh~duh~duh :-) DONE!!!

The ad for the Garage Sale Saturday has been placed, but the ad will only be in the Saturday paper, online & map. Signs will be out no later than 8:45am unless YOU e-mail   with your location and time your sale will start.

Reason for the one day ad - only one member has said they are having a sale .... PLEASE if you are having one let me know so I can direct a sign toward yours. If this is something the community doesn't want to be behind ... let us know.

Updated garage sale info ... looks like the ad will not go in until Tuesday (or after meeting Monday for a Community Garage Sale )-: So far NO ONE has said they are having a sale.

I probably shouldn't advertise one if NO ONE is having one ... ? Let me know ...

Ta DAH!!!! I got the notes done :-) Working on some more stuff on the site - adding links and such and also doing clean-up ... if you have any suggestions - PLEASE send them to   I added the agenda for Monday - want to add something else - email me before NOON on Friday and I will add it. If not, then you can bring up whatever duing the open comments from the floor.

We will be sending out the propsed budget soon so be watching for it. Also if you would like to run for the board, now is the time to get your name added so you may be able to added to the mailing for those who only vote via proxy.

List of upcoming meetings  Moved things around on the main landing page. Let' see ... what else? Oh!!! We must address the annual meeting and the board of directors. I added all of the previous updates above. I may move this to the bottom - not sure yet. I also removed access to the updates through the left panel navigation.

The beginning of 2011 updates were lost when I did a disk clean-up (this website takes up a LOT of space) I lost the blog I had created and the updates had been there :-(

Still working on the notes ... but this time the procrastination is not coming from a leak in the ceiling. TIP: Check your roof for plywood clips that are bent up, it is a simple fix if found before a big storm ...

I got the notice for the 2011 Tarpon Springs Clean-up date OCTOBER 23rd ~ WOW ~ well OK then, we got the date for the curb side pick-up. But the quick date also means a quick date for our community wide garage / yard sale.

I commented to a couple of neighbors the other day that every time I attempt to do the notes (and to do list) I get distracted. The distractions have seemed to escalated :-( Yesterday distraction was/is a leak in the ceiling )-:

I am just going to post what I have to this point and update as able. Notes and the To-Do list which are truly a mess and only half completed at the moment.

I was going to work on notes ~ but the SPEEDING and Red Light Running issue raised it's VERY weary head again - so I spent TOO long updating the site on this issue AGAIN.

TRULY - Do you REALLY want Speed Bumps / Humps through-out our neighborhood?

Because of a FEW foolish or unintelligent; stupid people who act DRIVE like asses?

Working on the notes from the meeting and updating the website and to-do list ... I've stopped fighting the tide and will reformat what I have to look like what I get so it doesn't take days to do ... so ...

I will update as things are done. And we GOT THE VOTES NEEDED !!! Amendment Passed !!! When bank owned properties sell after sitting for years ~ they MUST pay the dues that are owed.

And then I got bogged down and the notes are still not completed :-( Thursday is booked and Friday is partially ... I endeavor to have all done by mid day Saturday.

Updating vote stats and other things today. As of last night, we need NINE more YES Votes. If you have not yet voted we NEED YOUR Vote !!!

I am posting links as they are done. Working agenda Adding to the Projects and TO-DO's still need to add about speedbump possibilities, painting of our center line along the RiverWatch Blvd entrance / extit ~ since so many think it is a one way (I wonder what they think when going the other direction?)

PAY ATTENTION NEIGHBORS! I do not want speedbumps ~ BUT I DO want those who speed in our neighborhood to STOP IT !!!!

The request for speedbumps came from community members ... so ... we ARE watching and you WILL be reported.

I am updating the To-Do's but the spreadsheet that was sent from the property manager is not the format I asked to be used ... since I use it to build the Projects and TO-DO's and to create our monthly agenda's ... so it is taking me some time to get it done :-(

Updated the agenda with my notes from last evening. We had a LOT of attendees ~ Thank You !!! Hope to see you again. So many NEW people (who happen to be long time community members ~ AND members who have been a few times, but are relatively new to our community :-)

Have you sent in your proxy vote yet? We still need 60 YES votes for this ammendment to pass. We NEED YOUR YES vote!!! What does it mean if we DON'T get it?

If a property is bank owned, when it sells, the bank only has to pay the current dues ... not any arrears dues. That IS the way it IS now !!! We found out when a home ... owned by a bank ... sold! And the several years of dues NOT paid ... WE get to pay.

To change this in our declarations we NEED this amendment.

WE NEED YOUR YES VOTE!!!

Agenda for our meeting on Monday is posted at the dock bulletin board ~ or you may just click HERE and read it ... WOW WHAT AN AGENDA!!! But it is what it is to the point I knew it at the time of posting, so hopefully we will fly through our meeting in record time and thus have time for socializing. Duffy, the manager of the Community Center, is a grinch when it comes to time.

I've done a lot of general updating and clean-up today. The garage sale pages (including fall and spring clean-up - the dates change, but the general information stays the same) I am also working at cleaning up the page names so they aren't so long ... how is that working for us?
