Double underlined green links are to advertisers on this page and site.  ~ Thank You ~ these links should be very targeted to the words they underline (should) if suddenly you see something like "fire extinguishers" double undelined and you DO NEED them - by all means - click the link :-)

Ways to Be Active in Our Community

RiverWatch Home

If you would like to volunteer for any item, or have general questions, ideas, concerns, complaints and or compliments, please send them to  and The current list is taken from our last meetings notes and then I shall add and move as this page grows (or doesn’t)

5.1 Property at 1916 ~ this property will take considerable amount of money and the biggest portion will be labor.  If you have what could be used, this is definitely something you will want to be interested in.  However … I feel, as soon as the lender feels this property is worth their money to get it back, I am sure they will swoop in like hawks

5.3 Fining committee: we just had one more person volunteer for the fining committee to ensure we have a minimum number to be legal and so may assist in protecting our community, when others do not see the point of living in a deed restricted community. If you are interested on being on this committee, e-mail us above.

6.2 Jacaranda Tree – when the tree is planted, it will need 10 gallons of water a day until it is established. We need volunteers (we can count on to BE accountable TO :-) to ensure the tree WILL get 10 gallons of water a day … if nothing else, maybe a bucket and all weather writing utensil, so volunteers can log when they give water? Water may be used from the pond for this tree, when it is planted.  Once the tree is established is will grow beautifly in it's location.

We have a few people wanting to help, but are not able to commit until after the first week of May.  If there are others who would like to ensure the Jacaranda get’s her (his?) water, e-mail us listed above.

6.3 Banner for Special Events – when we DO get the banner, are there events you would like to chair to use the banner for?  Example ~ the garage sale events (I am not a garage saler and thus not the right person to be the chairperson for it ~ so A neighbor has volunteered … thru the other half, but hey … I’ll take any volunteers I can get :-)

6.4 Dock, Boat Ramp and Parking:  Do you use this area?  Is there an issue with this area?  What are they?  When do they happen?  Do we need “Official Rules & Regs” for this area?  It is starting to warm up and the area is being used more … what are your thoughts?
